Welcoming the Year of the Pig!
Gong Xi Fa Cai Wan Shi Ru Yi! May the year of the pig bring luck to everybody! Well so far I feel very lazy in the year of 2007. Furthermore I lost money on the first day of the new year! What luck! On a lighter note, I just found that someone has the same blog birthday as me! So coincident! This world is very very small... haha.
Man I am getting slack. So I decided after this CNY I will be serious and go back on focusing my studies (I hope... haha). March will be a very pack pack month. Tests, projects, deadlines, classes on saturday zzz....
But for now lets not dampen the festive mood with my complaints and celebrate first! For all those at the gambling table, may you win lots lots of money HUAT ah! For those still schooling, Xue Yue Jin Pu! For those working, Shen Yi Xing Rong and Nian Nian You Yu! For everybody Shen Ti Jian Kang and happy happy happy!

Happy Valentines!
Blogging on Valentines Day sounds so boring. Nevertheless it is just another day to me. Well if you and yr loved one do cherish each other, everyday will be a V day.
Somehow over the years I feel that V day is like a money making event. Leaflets will be pasted on bus-stops,overhead bridges etc. advertising bouquet of flowers or presents for yr loved ones. It seems like as long as there is a special event or holiday comin up, such entrepreneur spirit will always surface in such times.
Of course I am not saying I am against V day. It still hold its purpose, allowing couples to have a dinner or movie together. Anyway if you really love your partner, spending time doing anything with him or her will be enjoyable. All right Happy Valentines Day to al the folks out there! Cheers!

清潔 (Seiketsu)
You might have come across the word 清潔 (Seiketsu). It is a Japanese word and the meaning is self discipline. I was introduced to this word two weeks ago by my lecturer for history of management thought class. The Japanese believe in five rules for housekeeping and self discipline is one of them.
No doubt that self discipline is very important in our lives. Without it, things cannot be done and success could not be achieved. It ensures that you know what your priorities are and the important things that need to be done. Like missing out on your soccer match when the next day you have a test.
However it is much easier said than done. Recently I seem to be losing it and trying my best to find it back. Nowadays life is full of distractions: going out with friends, internet, slackin, girls (oops) etc. Ya those are excuses. Somehow the temptation to do things more enjoyable is greater than to hit the books or do something more constructive.
As my term progresses, the pressure mounts. Hopefully I can set myself straight and focus. But Chinese New Year is approaching...
