Initiation July 07
Yes it was the semi-annual Initiation Day for RMIT council again! This time I was part of the commitee in charge of planning it. I had to say the turnout was great, much more people and happening compared to my initiation. For the benefit of those who do not know what I am talking about, initiation day is like the "ritual" to welcome the new councilers into RMIT council. There will be lots of fun as all councilers, both old and new, will play games and bond together.
Well to start things off, everyone met up in school and got themselves into six groups. A few games were played in school (actually supposed to be played at at pasir ris if not for the rain) such as win, lose or draw. Then in the afternoon it was off to pasir ris for a mini amazing race in the east side, which was the main event of the day. Lots of running and travelling were invovled and we poor gamemasters had to follow them too. Ultimately it was fun! Although my team came in fourth, I think they had done their best and being their gamemaster, I am proud of them.
Dinner was good, thanks to Jefre and not to forget Shan! They help all the tired people scoop their food. Kudoes to them! However it was past my hungry moment and I did not eat much sadly. After dinner it was prize presentation, President's speech and lastly the most aniticipated news, which department the new councilers are going to. SR got lots of new people. Woot! However it was not the end yet. There were still night games! Once again I got to help out with the games and can't play them. Sad...
By the time the games were over, it was like almost 1am in the morning. However everyone seemed like much awake. Night owls haha! Back at the chalet, the games continued. This time round it involves drinking and it was not too long before everyone was intoxicated. Too bad James did not play because he was forbidden haha. So it seemed like Keith took his place of SKK part 2 haha. Everyone was having lots of fun and we even received a complained. Still everyone was in such high spirits and it lasted till near 7 in the morning. By then everyone was almost concussed haha. And scandalous photos were taken as usual when people were sleeping. I left around 8 plus and slept throughout my cab trip.
Overall it was enjoyable and I hoped that everyone felt the same too. Thanks to SR committee who put in a lot of effort in this event. And of course not forgetting the rest of the councilers who came. Only bad thing was I did not stay back to help out clear the trash (oops). My bad. And one final thing... SR ROCKS!!!

Some Potter Magic
Last week I managed to catch the fifth movie of Harry Potter with my brother. The fourth movie was ok but the third was quite boring to me. Nevertheless this time round it was entertaining enough and I am not lost in the plot, even though I have never read the books haha.
Expectos Petroneum!
Some scenes did catch my attention like Harry's first kiss and Professor Dumbedore's escape. Oops looks like I reveal too much. I will give it a three and half stars. I think it will be worth your ticket price and who knows you might feel something magical after watching it.

Sunday!
I had a meeting with my GESS brothers again. Lunch was at PS secret recipe. My first time trying out their food and I must say it is not bad. Price wise is similar to the normal restaurants like Cafe Cartel. However service was not as good and I think it could have been better.
Afternoon was a little bit of arcade, shopping and coffee break before we bought tickets for the show My Wife is a Gangster 3. Basically as we grow older, the stuff we do seems mudane and there are lesser activities to be involved. Well I guess thats life.
Shu Qi is fierce!
This show is quite hilarious with a mixture of hong kong and korean scenes with cantonese and korean dialogue. Cheesy and silly plot but still not too bad. Definitely it can put a smile on your face if you are having a lousy day... haha. Well love really knows no barriers, even when it comes to language. Wonder if it really works in real life... haha.
Then I went to meet up with my university friends for a game of pool at bugis pool fusion. I still have not improved much from the last time I played. Somehow I feel that I manage to pod easily than the previous time. Still I didn't win much haha. Well it takes time, practise and money. One day I shall win gator! Wahaha.

Presentation Over!
Yes the dreaded presentation was over at last! Overall it was ok but I felt I could have done better. I think I still need to improve on some parts of my presentation. Nevertheless my group deserve some credit after putting quite an amount of effort for preparing the presentation. Next up will be the individual portfolio due at the end of month. But for the moment I just want to relax... haha.

A module with no examinations might sound easy. Until you find out that there are 4 assignments to complete and the first deadline is in a week's time when school just started. My group decide to do on motivation. Ironically I can't find my motivation to do so... haha. Well got to push on no matter what. I made a promise to myself to do better this semester. Gambate!

Back to School
All right tomorrow is the beginning of my semester. This time I am looking forward to go back to school. It's good to see my friends again. More importantly I want to redeem myself for my previous semester disastrous results. Determine is the word! Will be blogging less I guess. Till the next entry people!
