Well my 1st paper was gone. Real gone I mean... haha. It was not very hard if I had studied and put in more effort. I made quite some silly mistakes. Will I pass or will I fail? Well my answer is due in about 1 month time. Haiz... now I have to concentrate on the other modules ba.

The time has come

All right in about 10 hours time, my first paper will commence, Business Finance. All will end on the 4th of May. I hope I can do some justice to my results for this second year. It might be rushing, stressful and hectic but that's life.

How can I help...

What is happening?

I know I should be studying but somehow just feel like blogging. All that studying is really making me go bonkers... haha.

Well a few days ago, I was studying in school with my friends. We were studying at a bench outside a lecture theatre. When it was break time there was this group of students who came out. They started smoking. Thats fine although I don't really like it especially when I am studying. However once they got back to class, they left behind a big mess of paper cups, plastic bags and cigarette boxes. The poor auntie cleaner had to clear all the rubbish left behind. Such an inconsiderate bunch of youngsters who have to let others clear their shit when they should be the ones doing so.

Yesterday I took a cab home and had a friendly conversation with the driver. He was telling me some of the encounters he had during his work. Most of the problems arosed when he picked up youngsters at pubbing and clubbing areas. Some of them would just tell him at the end of the trip that they did not have enough cash. Of course some of them asked to be dropped at the nearest ATM to draw money. However there are those thick-skin people who would still insist they did not have enough to pay for the trip. If they do not have enough money, they can draw from the nearest ATM or go back to their home to get some cash. If they don't have the means, they shouldn't be clubbing or pubbing in the first place. These drivers have to earn a living and cant be giving free rides all the time.

What is happening to the youngsters of Singapore? Of course I am not branding all of them because of a few black sheep. But seriously I feel that nowadays the youngsters are not as innocent as before and are just taking things for granted. Worse still some of them do not even see their folly and continue to try their luck. I really wonder what will become of Singapore if such selfish and inconsiderate acts are left unchecked.

Anyway I am not putting the blame on anyone in particular. Neither am I trying to act as a civic-minded citizen nor am I proclaiming that I am a good person. I just want to voice out some thoughts.

Exam Season

Well folks it is the season of exams again. Everyone is cramping the facts into their brains and all those panda eyes are getting popular. What choice do we have when everyone is pursuing that degree that promise a better future?

Well I have not been in a very good concentrating mood to study but I am trying my best. Hopefully I can push myself to go through this mugging period... haha.

I will be back...

Super Wet Friday

Have you ever been to Sentosa right after a storm? Thats what the 6 of us did literally... haha. Really hardcore madness right? Haha.

We had our lunch at Seah Imm hawker centre. At that time it was already raining cats & dogs, like a typhoon scene in those documentaries. As everyone of us came all the way down for some sun tanning, it will be a pity to just go back. So after lunch we decided to go to Vivocity to do some window shopping and see how the weather goes. Luckily for us, around 3pm, the weather looks much brighter. Still there was no sun but anyway lets just go in!

There was almost nobody since the rain had just stopped and it was quite late to be at the beach. But we managed to get a free ball and mat at the toilet. Finder's keeping... haha. Beach volleyball time! Spent like one and a half hours playing with the rest of the guys. My hands were real sore man especially my forearms but I think I getting the hang of volleyball. Wonder why I did not play much of that sport during my school days.

Soon it was 6pm. Haiz time to bid Sentosa goodbye. After showering, we headed back down to Vivo. Dinner was the super duper big portion of Carl's Junior. I don't mind to gain extra weight but the gals sure do... haha. What a day to cap off!

Some moments taken:

Catch!

Beach Volleyball!

Posers of the day

Getting ready for the big jump

Thats what I called synchronised art!

The Islander Gang!

Star gazing in the day... LOL

Well it seems like the next Sentosa trip will be after exams. Rain rain please go away!

Mambo Wednesday

I hate the feeling of being ignored. Well I don't know why but I just dislike it...

Was not a very good day. Had a quarrel with my mum. Luckily it was not that serious but still I hate quarrels especially with family and friends. I will avoid it if it is possible. But sometimes you just have to stand firm on certain things. Nevertheless went to zouk at night with my university friends for one last party before the exams.

Somehow Zouk did not seem to appeal much to me yesterday. Songs were the same and as usual we had to squeeze like sardines in a can with the crowd filled with second hand smoke. Maybe I am getting old. Maybe its just the same dance moves. However going with friends to club is still enjoyable as we will be dancing in out own wacky way and doing silly stuff to entertain ourselves.

At 3am, I went to the bridge outside Zouk alone to chill. It's been a very long time since I went to a place alone to chill out. A lot of things went through my mind: relationships, family, future, problems. All came flooding my mind like a tap filling up a container till it overflows. Luckily I was sober enough to know what is going on and control my emotions. It was more like a stoning and reflective session for me.

At 3.30am my friends and I set off to the prata shop nearby for some late night supper. Service was not professional at all. Imagine going to the counter to make your orders and you are being told to go back to your table and take orders from the waiter when he kept forgetting his orders. Duh...

Anyway some pictures for viewing:

I wonder if I will go to Zouk again this year... haha.

TMNT!

Went to Tiong Bahru Plaza on good friday with my secondary school brothers to catch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT). Really brings back the memories, reminiscence of my childhood days.

My favourite turtles are Ralphael & Leonardo. Ralphael has the attitude & passion (which I think I am lacking) and his weapon of choice, the sai, is so cool! Leonardo is fair & brave as a leader and he sets an example to his fellow brothers. And I just like swords! Actually I just like their usage of weapons & fighting skills. Though Michangelo is a bit crazy and Donatello a bit too geeky for me... haha.

Overall the movie was ok, plot not bad, CGI (computer-generated imagery) has improved & even has Zhang Ziyi voice in it! I will give 3 out of 5 stars. However it is seriously just another cartoon flick and it might not appeal to the those who seldom watch cartoons. In fact it might seem childish. As for me, I have learnt something about values and I don't think its a letdown. Well different people different views.

OkCupid Test

Nothing better to do than a OkCupid quiz in the middle of the night... haha. Maybe you people can try too.

The Slow Dancer
Deliberate Gentle Love Dreamer (DGLDm)

Steady, reliable, and cradling her tenderly. Take a deep breath, and let it out real easy...you are The Slow Dancer.

Your focus is love, not sex, and for your age, you have average experience. But you're a great, thoughtful guy, and your love life improves every year. There's also a powerful elimination process working in your favor: most Playboy types get stuck raising unwanted kids before you even begin settling down. The women left over will be hot and yours. Your ideal woman is someone intimate, intelligent, and very supportive.

While you're not exactly the life of the party, you do thrive in small groups of smart people. Your circle of friends is extra tight and it's HIGHLY likely they're just like you. You appreciate symmetry in relationships.

ALWAYS AVOID: The Battleaxe

CONSIDER: The Maid of Honor or The Sonnet

Your exact opposite:
The Hornivore

Random Brutal Sex Master

Settled Down?

I have shifted into my new home. Was real messy for the first few days but soon my family and I managed to pack up all the stuff. I like it here because its very secluded and peaceful. It is also very cooling and not very hot down here.

I found my mp3 player! All the while it was in the pocket of another bag and i thought I dropped it in school. Although I am not like those who value their mp3 players like sacred items and used it everyday, it does helps when the trips on public transport gets mudane.

HMT group report was cleared yesterday! Yes! After the past few late nights struggling of compiling, reading, typing, editing, brainstorming etc., the masterpiece was born. I won't say its the best work but still lots of sweat, blood and time were spent on it. Nevertheless i want to thank my teammates Kevin, Joy, Handsome Yap and MY for putting their utmost efforts. Well now is onto exams.

Evening went over to Suntech to help the student council for the movie screening of number 23. At first it was slightly chaotic as people were rushing to collect their tickets and goody bags. Once they started entering the theatre, our part had been completed. I must say this term movie screening was a success as all the tickets were sold out within 5 days. The previous one was not as successful as this. Hopefully the next term will be just as good as this.

Later at night went to chill out with my bros at the coffee shop beside Funan. It is known for their cheap beer, where 3 bottles are sold for about $15. It was a break for us from the past 2 to 3 weeks of tests and projects. We talked about many stuff and it was a real "all pour out" session for most of us.

So what's next? Before I concentrate on my exams for the end of month, I need to settle an issue first. Now my mind is full of question marks. Did I do something wrong? Wrong timing? Lack of sincerity? I really don't know. Only time will tell.
