Random Thoughts Again
Yesterday I just watched the last episode of Mars vs Venus. Although I did not follow the serial everyday, I must say it makes me think a lot about relatonships. Some of the quotes are also inspiring and true. Plus I like the song by Redwan Ali. Sometimes you can't but just help to wonder is there such a thing as true love? It is a very debatable issue and sometimes you will have doubts standing for which side.
A few days ago I went to catch Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. It was the concluding movie for the piarates trilogy. The line "Welcome to Singapore" made by Chow Yun Fatt's character Sao Feng has become so popular since sneaks of the movie has started showing. In fact I find it hilarious... haha. Overall the movie has a befitting ending and there are some comical scenes to arouse some humour. I am quite surprised that reviews are saying the movie is boring. Maybe there are some parts of the movie that is unclear and a little draggy. I would rate 4 out of 5 stars for Pirates.
Pirates!
All right I will resume blogging after my Genting trip. Enjoy the holidays people. Cheers!

Free Hugs Anyone?
No I am not campaigning for this yet... haha. In fact I feel that this campaign is refreshing and meaningful. I saw it on the TV advertisement in MacDonalds showing that some people are doing it in Singapore. Not bad!
This campaign originated from Australia from a guy called Juan Mann, whose mission is to reach out and hug a stranger to brighten their lives. It might look simple and sounds weird but I think it is very inspiring. At a certain point of life, everyone needs a hug and I don't believe if anyone says NO. We are humans after all and have feelings. Definitely everyone will experience some low points in life and sometimes a hug can just dispel the gloom.
In our modern day, everyone is so caught up with their lives and fail to treasure the simple things in life and I think hugging is one of them. For more information on this, here is the link to the website (www.freehugscampaign.org/index.php?categoryid=1). Here is the inspiring video, with credits going to gator for helpin me with the code... haha. Nice song too.
Maybe I should start another one haha...

Happening Week!
Ok I am back for some quality blogging time after a week plus filled with activities - beach, KTV, clubbing, chalet, going out etc. Clubbing, chalet and late night gaming are fun and exciting but it is really screwing up my bio clock. Besides it is also burning a hole in my pocket. So it is time to really stop enjoying so much. Time to get that body back in shape with a new healthy lifestyle. More gymming and swimming!
KTV at Party World
The Islanders are back with a vengeance!
Why am I the shortest... haiz
Within a span of a week, I had been clubbing thrice, which is quite "xiong" to the health and pocket. People go clubbing for many reasons. Some just want to let their hair down and enjoy the music, some just go for the booze while some just want to hook up on some guys or ladies. Of course there are many more other reasons but they are mainly those that I have just stated. For me I just want to go out there and enjoy the music, move the body with the flow. Hitching up a girl at a club does not really appeal to me as it does not seem right. Anyway I think I should just cut down on my clubbing ways as I am also getting old for it... haha.

I also caught Spiderman3 with my GESS brothers. In my opinion, it was the best among the three Spiderman movies and perhaps the most realistic and "down to earth". The plot was good and refreshing, keeping the main frame of the comic and changing some parts. Toby Maguire and Kirsten Dunst are really charming in their roles. Although they are not the best looking actors and actresses around, they got the X factor charm that I think makes them appealing and fitting of their roles. The one sentence that hit me in the movie is "In life there is always a choice". You can choose to be happy or sad, funny or dull, good or bad etc. There is always a choice to choose how you want to lead your life so don't ever say you have no choice.
Spiderman3!
My Student Relations (SR) chalet was awesome! It was really crazy fun and it has been such a long time since I had so much fun. Thanks to Damian and Clara for booking the chalet, settling the food and making it successful. Also thanks to the Events department for inviting us to their chalet and their games. It was really fun with all those forfeits... haha. However the biggest credit for the fun belongs to JAMES!!! Haha. He was the one who really turned us upside down and kept us laugh the whole night. His antics and jokes are really unmatched especially with booze... haha. SKK man (For more info what is SKK ask James... haha)! Here are some moments at the chalet

Finally over... for now
My last paper was just yesterday. Glad its over! Having 3 exam papers in 1 week is seriously not easy and when you have 2 modules of full theory, it definitely takes all those brain cells to be in "tip top" condition. Sadly this term, I think I did not give in my 100%. Not that I did not study and put in effort but just that I feel it's not enough to achieve the results I wanted. But its pointless to give excuses when everything is over so no point crying over spilled milk.
A lot of my friends said that after NS, you will have the drive to study. I think it holds some truth. During my first year I did have the motivation. However as the semester goes by, it gets tougher and you have to balance your studies with your other commitments in life. It also seems that I am losing steam. No longer am I the studious student I used to be in my secondary and polytechnic days. Somehow I seem to lost that touch... haha. Well hopefully I will be able to find back the studious me in my next semester.
Anyway its over now so before the results (in 1 month's time), I will thoroughly go and enjoy myself! DESTRESS TIME!!!
