&oops. I randomize and scribbled again-
Initiation July 07
Yes it was the semi-annual Initiation Day for RMIT council again! This time I was part of the commitee in charge of planning it. I had to say the turnout was great, much more people and happening compared to my initiation. For the benefit of those who do not know what I am talking about, initiation day is like the "ritual" to welcome the new councilers into RMIT council. There will be lots of fun as all councilers, both old and new, will play games and bond together.
Well to start things off, everyone met up in school and got themselves into six groups. A few games were played in school (actually supposed to be played at at pasir ris if not for the rain) such as win, lose or draw. Then in the afternoon it was off to pasir ris for a mini amazing race in the east side, which was the main event of the day. Lots of running and travelling were invovled and we poor gamemasters had to follow them too. Ultimately it was fun! Although my team came in fourth, I think they had done their best and being their gamemaster, I am proud of them.
Dinner was good, thanks to Jefre and not to forget Shan! They help all the tired people scoop their food. Kudoes to them! However it was past my hungry moment and I did not eat much sadly. After dinner it was prize presentation, President's speech and lastly the most aniticipated news, which department the new councilers are going to. SR got lots of new people. Woot! However it was not the end yet. There were still night games! Once again I got to help out with the games and can't play them. Sad...
By the time the games were over, it was like almost 1am in the morning. However everyone seemed like much awake. Night owls haha! Back at the chalet, the games continued. This time round it involves drinking and it was not too long before everyone was intoxicated. Too bad James did not play because he was forbidden haha. So it seemed like Keith took his place of SKK part 2 haha. Everyone was having lots of fun and we even received a complained. Still everyone was in such high spirits and it lasted till near 7 in the morning. By then everyone was almost concussed haha. And scandalous photos were taken as usual when people were sleeping. I left around 8 plus and slept throughout my cab trip.
Overall it was enjoyable and I hoped that everyone felt the same too. Thanks to SR committee who put in a lot of effort in this event. And of course not forgetting the rest of the councilers who came. Only bad thing was I did not stay back to help out clear the trash (oops). My bad. And one final thing... SR ROCKS!!!
